Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been around much lately, I've been quite busy as well as scanner-less. We do have a camera now, though! If anyone has tips on photographing drawings, they'd be greatly appreciated.

Here's what's been going down lately (the awesome stuff)

1 Finally got a new boat- it's a secondhand red Nelo 2 ML, and it is just gorgeous.
2 I get to carry the Olympic torch on Friday! I'm SO pumped, I get the tracksuit and everything! I'll probably post some pictures. Ohhh my gosh, excited. Exciiiiited!!! Aw yeah! Moving on.
3 I now have an incredibly awesome boyfriend. He is very smart and hilarious and talented. And he was the guy who sang 'the Riddle' with me during the Diplomacy game. And basically he's just the best ever.
4 Finally got a hold of the Scarlet Pimpernel BBC movies- I just watched the first one and enjoyed it immensely. Percy's coat = epic win.
5 They're making a Pirates of the Carribean 4, apparently? Super cool!
6 Going to a U2 360 concert in June with my brother in Montreal, city of kick-ass (which they should totally adopt as their slogan). We've been planning this for ages as they're one of our favorite bands.
7 I am now a published cartoonist! With the help of resident historian L. (see # 3) I made kind of an illustrated history of WWI that will be going out in our school paper next week (I also have a movie review of the Princess Bride). Hopefully I'll get those up pretty soon.
7.5 Drawing WWI-era world leaders has made me get over my inability to draw facial hair, so you might me seeing some Valjean pictures around (eventually)
8 French project on Victor Hugo a-like WOAH. 3-5 minute oral presentation, although I probably can't keep it under 5 minutes. And I made several pictures.

So, life's been going pretty darn well, for the most part. I do really miss DA though, and all of you guys. I guess I didn't really realize how much you've helped me and how much I rely on you for feedback and support.

...Ahem. Anyhow. Hope everyone's doing alright! Anyone heard any good jokes lately?
